About

International photographer Claudia Schechter developed her eye for detail at Rochester Institute of Technology where she studied still photography, television and filmmaking, and earned a degree in Medical Photography.

She began her career by photographing patients undergoing plastic surgery and open-heart surgery, and documented dental and veterinary procedures in teaching universities.

While employed by Polaroid and Fuji, Claudia shared her knowledge of film and technical effects with professional photographers.

Her appreciation and natural curiosity about life around the world and at home shows in the sensitivity and artistry she brings to her work.

Today, Claudia is pursuing her dream – traveling the world, capturing the healing power of medicine and telling the stories of humanity through The Listening Lens.
